LC Shifter

LC Shifter is an ex Royal Marines LCVP (Landing craft vehicle personnel) mk4 recently from service. It is a very versatile craft with unsurpassed build quality, Shifter can access the most remote locations inaccessible by road allowing maintenance and inspection work to be carried out. With the vast amount of deck space Shifter is able to carry bulky heavy machinery, and with the bow door loading and unloading is made simple from any location.

Shifter has been used for shallow water surveys over sand banks where conventional vessels were unable to operate due to the risk of grounding, it can operate in extremely shallow water with a draught of 75cms at the stern, with twin Perkins 6 cylinder turbo diesel engines it has no problem pulling off the beach after being loaded with 3 tonnes of equipment. Shifter has recently been rewired and fitted out with a top of the range Koden electronics package, she carries all necessary safety equipment for the MCA category 3 codes.
