After supporting the cable laying across the TSS on
the Borwin 1 windfarm project in Germany Vanguard is now working with
S.B.Guardian in the Baltic on the Nordstream project for NCS survey.
L.C. Shifter is currently supporting the Linc’s windfarm cable landfall
installation in the Wash for Subocean, where its ability to land men
and equipment to the remote and environmentally sensitive mudflats
at all sates of the tide in shallow waters is proving extremely valuable.
S.B. Observer and Kirkspray continue supporting Scira Offshore Energy
on the Sheringham Shoal windfarm from Wells with crew transfers and
Marine Mammal observation.
SBS have been appointed agents for MTHojgaard to support their operations from Wells.
Safety Boat Services has attained ISO 9001, ISO 18001 and Fpal Achilles accreditation.
Safety Boat Services secure Lowestoft Operating Facility
With the current expansion plan of the company a second east coast operating facility has been secured, allowing Safety Boat Services to serve the wash from their current facility in Wells. Now the facility at Lowestoft has been secured the company is well placed to serve the remaining East coast of the wash as well as the Thames Estuary. As Lowestoft is not restricted by tide this allows Safety Boat Services a second home for its rapidly expanding fleet". The Excelsior yard provides 2 slipways with all marine services offices and facilities available for vessels up to 250 tonnes.
Vanguard is currently operational on the Borwin 1 windfarm project in Germany supporting the cable laying vessels Edda Fjord and Team Oman across the TSS.
We are currently assisting MT Hojgaard in the construction of the Gunfleet sands windfarm.
Vanguard has been approved for Pilot boat duties for P.L.A. where her duties including taking P.L.A. pilots to and from the barges bringing the foundations over from the continent to the Gunfleet sands wind farm.
We have just completed a campaign changing all the T.P. gates out on the L.I.D. windfarm for a warranty job.
Jackson Civils
We have just started a 22 week contract supplying skippered Safety Boat with Jackson Civils on the Branch bridge demolition project.
Raynesway Development
We have just finished a job providing Safety cover for the New Raynesway development bridge installation with Weldon Plant.
Gardline
We are currently involved in AWAC recovery for Gardline in association with IDP around coastline of Southern North Sea using our dive platform Shifter; so far we have had a 100% retrieval success rate.
Greater Gabbard Windfarm
Trojan has been fitted out to our specifications and has been used successfully for Swathe survey by Swathe services off Sizewell and for a communications survey for the Greater Gabbard Windfarm for Scottish and Southern Energy, and for crew transferring Fugro surveying the Linc’s windfarm cable route for Centrica operating from Sutton Bridge.
