Fossor

Fossor is a purpose built 17m x 5.24m multicat with hydraulic spud legs, launched in May 2009 she is coded MCA workboat category 3, the Hydro Master Drives make her very manoeuvrable and allow her to operate in shallow inter tidal areas. The large open deck space allows for the carriage of bulky equipment and is ideal for use as a commercial dive platform.

2 secure bunks onboard and full galley and welfare facilities allow for 24 hour operations for up to 4 persons, the vessel is category 3 coded for 8 persons and carries all the necessary safety equipment including Jasons cradle and floating spinal board. A 2 tonne crane is fitted to the forward deck and a 10 tonne winch is fitted mid ships on the starboard side. Fossor was designed to be able to totally dry out in inter tidal areas and still be able to provide 240V power from the onboard air cooled 15Kva generator.
